FAIRY TAIL: 100 YEARS QUEST
One of the most well-known anime is back with its sequel. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, is the continuation of Hiro Mashima’s beloved manga Fairy Tail, illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. The anime is set to air in Japan in July 2024.
The official Fairy Tail 100: Years Quest YouTube channel has released a teaser trailer to provide fans with a sneak peek of the character designs, cast and crew behind the scenes and the anticipated anime is set to Premier in July, Summer 2024.
Studio J.C. Staff shall bring life to the anime with the guidance of chief director – Toshinori Watnabe, scriptwriter Atsuhiro Tomioka, talented character designer Yuriko Sako and sound director Shoji Hata. Legendary anime music composer, known for the nostalgic Fairy Tail OSTs we love and remember, is also joining the production, so expect to hear some banger scores.
The 100 Years Quest is a gruelling 100-year mission, so difficult it is yet to be completed for more than a century. Many have attempted the quest, but ended up being defeated or killed. Even Fairy Tail’s S Class Veteran – Gildarts Clive – failed the quest due to an encounter with Acnologia, and now Team Natsu has been approved to take on this grueling quest. Natsu Dragneel and his team, Lucy Heartfillia, Happy, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, Wendy Marvel and Charles are up for the task and aim to complete this dangerous mission.
The story is set a year after the defeat of Zeref and Acnologia. Team Natsu will travel to the continent of Guiltina, to meet the owner of the 100 Years Quest, and take up the impossible challenge: Seal the 5 Dragon Gods – a group of dragons so powerful, that they could wreak havoc on the entire world, if they are left to their own shenanigans. Meanwhile – Fairy Tail has recruited a mysterious new member called Touka. With the new enemies – The Dragon Gods – entities claiming to be stronger than Acnologia, a new dark guild in Guiltina named Diabolos, and the unknown nature of the newest member, there is more happening behind the scenes. Natsu and his friends face perils from multiple fronts and must use their bonds, will and magic to overcome all odds!
